Loretta VanPelt
With close to 20 years of experience Loretta’s work in diversity and inclusion, unconscious bias and cultural competence has engaged her with a broad range of industries in the Fortune 500, 100 and many of the Top 50 companies recognized by Diversity, Inc. She works with clients to develop short and long term strategies to help maximize on-the-job capability while achieving organizational, group and personal goals. She works with executives, leaders and employees from the C-Suite to the shop floor, within organizations both national and international.
Loretta’s experience incorporates consulting, organizational development, program evaluation and design, project management and education and training.
Some of her work consist of implementing initiatives that include: strategic diversity planning, organizational cultural audits, focus groups, audit recommendation planning, preparing Diversity Councils for their tasks ahead and working with Employee Resource Groups.
Loretta has worked with client groups in many sectors including: technology, automotive/manufacturing, hotel and food service, pharmaceutical, consumer products, health care, financial services, construction services and government agencies.
Loretta holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University and, earned a Master of Science Degree from Central Michigan University. She is also a Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory® (IDI).
